Your challenge:

  • You will inspect on-site machines & entire lines. You report your findings and suggest improvements where possible.
  • You start up new projects in which you use your expertise to adjust the installation as efficiently as possible. Depending on the size and location of the installation, you will be abroad for a period of time.
  • You carry out repairs, usually preventive, whereby wear and tear or spare parts are installed. You are also occasionally responsible for urgent interventions.
  • Besides mechanical maintenance, you use your insight into automation to diagnose a machine or line.
  • You gradually use your thorough process knowledge to optimise recycling installations in terms of control technology.
  • You use desk time for necessary reporting and preparation.
  • You maintain good communication and share your knowledge with customers and internal colleagues.
  • You comply with the safety rules that apply to the site where you carry out the intervention.

Your profile

  • You have had a technical education on bachelor level / industrial engineer.
  • You have a good knowledge of (electro)mechanics and/or electricity.
  • You enjoy working at the customer’s site, preferably have experience with this and are flexible in terms of working hours, travel, and possible overnight stays.
  • You are highly analytical when detecting faults and defects.
  • You always work solution-oriented, autonomously and efficiently.
  • You communicate fluently in Dutch, English and French.
