The Lybover group – based in Waregem and Bruges – offers engineering, customisation and total solutions to our clients in industrial sectors.

The Business Unit INSTALLATION supports all units within the group in the field of assembly and service. The team of around 30 employees always works on site at our customers’ sites and customers’ sites and is supported by a number of internal colleagues in the areas of administration, planning, and follow-up.

What is your challenge?

As a Site Supervisor, you are the central point of contact for the internal project team and you are always present on location (sites) at our customers at home and abroad.

  • You coordinate and organise the site and keep an overview of all activities and their progress on the site.
  • You are the contact between the client, the project office and the assembly crew.
  • You ensure the qualitative execution of the project according to the contractual agreements and within the predetermined deadlines.
  • You operationally manage the assembly teams and suppliers according to the applicable safety and environmental regulations and the applicable rules and procedures.
  • You participate in site meetings at the customer’s premises.
  • You take care of all additional administration and follow-up, for example regarding presence of material, permits, audits, tests, and deliveries.
  • You are responsible for the smooth cooperation with the various partners and subcontractors and colleagues in Waregem, Bruges or Beringen.

Who are you?

  • You have a technical degree, at least a bachelor.
  • You have several years experience as a project manager or site manager of large construction sites and have knowledge of mechanical installations.
  • Knowledge of piping is a plus.
  • You can consult and read technical drawings.
  • You are hands-on and solution-oriented and roll up your sleeves.
  • You have the ability to manage people and build balanced partnerships.
  • You are preferably already in possession of a VCA certificate.
  • You speak Dutch and can express yourself adequately in French, English and German.
  • You like variety in your work and direct contact with customers.
  • You are flexible in terms of working hours and travel, and willing to spend regular time abroad during the week.
